Burge Environmental

Burge Environmental

Burge Environmental (http://burgenv.com) has developed and deployed remote automated water monitoring systems for the determination of the critical contaminants in drinking, natural and process waters. Their list of analytes includes Cr(VI), TCE, C-Tet, radioisotopes, and many other notoriously challenging chemicals released to the environment during common industrial practices. They also specialize in soil vapor and pressure differential measurements. The instrumentation is designed to allow for interface of the primary sensor, auxiliary sensor(s) and sampling methods using a “plug and play” mode of operation.  The user selects the sensors, sampling techniques and communication methods, plugs the component into the correct slot and selects the appropriate software on the computer program.  The instrument is multiplexed to allow for monitoring from multiple locations with a single system.

Hartman Environmental Geoscience

Hartman Environmental Geoscience
Hartman Environmental Geoscience (http://www.HartmanEG.com) specializes in expert vapor intrusion support services. Dr. Hartman has successfully fielded automated continuous real-time analyte-specific remote vapor monitoring platforms that are multiplexed to enable geospatial renderings of environmental conditions at a frequency sufficient to determine true exposure risks. EPA has acknowledged that traditional “point-in-time” and “time-integrated” sampling methods exhibit a high probability of yielding incorrect results. As such, continuous monitoring has been described as the “gold standard” for vapor intrusion assessment by leading EPA decision-makers. When combined with Groundswell’s automated visualization and alerting/response web application, Dr. Hartman’s detection system allows clients to unequivocally demonstrate that working and living conditions are always safe
